The Biscuit Factory
We had a lovely time today with our dear friends Mike & Kay. We met at the Biscuit Factory in Newcastle which is an amazing Art Gallery with a vast selection of paintings,prints, sculpture, glass, ceramics and jewelry. It was such a pleasure to look around again as we haven’t been for ages.
We decided to stay there for lunch and had an outstanding meal (2 courses fro £10) in the restaurant which was very elegant with comforting aromas coming from the kitchen. I could definitely recommend it and can’t wait to go back again.
In the afternoon we went back to our house so that Mike & Kay could see some of Alan Reed’s paintings and a coffee before Alan took them back to the Station. To end the day and record the memory Alan did a sketch of Newcastle Central Station.
