Fab Art

This fabulous watercolour painting by Alan Reed of “Great Pulteney Street” Bath, has been sold by the Octagon in Bath.

This is where all the finalists for the “Bath Prize 2010”  have been on display. This particular painting was done on location with Alan holding a paintbrush in one hand and a umbrella in the other !!

The exhibition ends on Saturday 9th October at 5.00pm if you would like to view some of the others.

Bath

Having a wonderful amazing time in the City of Bath with my lovely jubly husband Artist Alan Reed. The hotel Apsley House is truly perfect and I would highly recommend it.

Even though it was raining cats & dogs yesterday Alan still managed to create an awesome watercolour painting on location holding a rather large brolly in one hand and the brush in the other!! Where was I ? you may ask, well those who know me would guess I was having a bit of the old retail therapy.

The day was not complete before having tea and a Bath Bun at Jayne Austin House.

The restaurant which I chose for dinner was Martini’s which was very authentic Italian and most satisfying, in fact it was that good we may go back again tonight.

Must go now as we are off to the famous Roman Baths.
