Back Home

It’s good to go on holiday, but always good to be back home again. Our week in Norfolk was quite a relaxing time even with the kids, just not having to answer the phone and see to emails makes a huge difference. Alan was up and out every morning at 6am to paint then came back around 8am and woke me and Louise up with a cup of tea before he made us all breakfast (superman) thats what I call him.

He did some stunning watercolours of Holkham Bay and the surrounding area, I’m trying to persuade him to get them framed up in time for the Buy Art Fair in Manchester next week.

Norfolk

Today is a great day or will be when I’ve finished and got up to date with work stuff and blogging etc. Were off to Norfolk tomorrow with Louise, Ewan and Anya for a week, here’s hoping the weather will be good (warm & sunny) so that the kids can play on the beach. We are staying in a lovely cottage and intend to travel around a bit and Alan of course is really looking forward to exploring the area with a view to painting on various locations. He has been reading loads of books of his favourite artists including Rowland Hilder & Edward Seago who did some amazing paintings around Norfolk.

So keep an eye on his blog/website in the coming months as without a doubt he will have some new fab paintings.
